We have overseen the construction of this project, going beyond the realm of a ‘normal’ structural engineer, providing advice on acrylic sound proof fencing, remediation of the existing sandstone wall to be used as flood diversion and close site supervision as requested by our client.

Utilising the new 150 Dincel wall profile for load carrying walls, we were able to maximise room size within a smaller floor plan and optimise child ratios for the business, while still achieving appropriate fire rating and load bearing requirements.

Over the course of the project we have adapted the design to accomodate the builder’s preferences as construction progressed.

The project is coming together very nicely and we look forward to seeing it completed shortly.
